Mac was staring out the window. In the past two days since
Robin had died, he
hadn't eaten, hadn't slept, hell, he probably wouldn't
be breathing if it took
any motivation. He had only one motivation. He had to
catch the murderer. The
guy who took his niece from him. Of course, Mac wasn't
sure if he wanted to
put the guy behind bars or strangle him with his bare
hands...
He felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Felicia's twisted
shadow of a
relfection in the window. He didn't turn around and she
rubbed his shoulder
gently. "I know this is a stupid question," she started.
"But how are you
doing?"
He did turn around. "You know what, Felicia? You're right.
That is a stupid
question." He sighed and turned back towards the window.
That day the funeral
was going to be held, he remembered. Today was to be
Robin's funeral.
~~
"I didn't know her." Alexis protested. "And a funeral
isn't the sort of thing
you need a date for."
"No." Ned agreed, his voice even, but lacking emotion.
Her eyes changed. She walked up so that she was right
in front of him. "If you
really want me to be there..." She paused. "If you need
me; I'm there."
He smiled slightly. "Yeah?"
"Yeah." She said softly. "But I just don't think it would
be appropriate. Like
I said, I hardly knew Robin Scorpio."
Ned nodded. "I'll be allright."
"You're sure...?" she started to ask.
"Yes." He nodded. "Really. I... mean, I still can't believe
it, but... I'll be
fine."
"And..." she paused. "Tonight?"
"What about it?" He goaded, knwoing just what she'd meant.
"I... well, will I see you?" She asked.
"Why, Ms. Davis, are you trying to ask me out?" He teased.
"Stop that." She commanded. "Don't tease me."
"Me?" He joked and she sighed, rolling her eyes. "Why
don't you come by the
Gatehouse sometime this evening?" He asked. "Anytime
after seven, whenever
you're done with everything you need to do today; I'll
be home." She nodded.

Bobbie went out to grab the paper off of her step and
found that with it there
was a box.
She looked at it quizzically, but brought it inside with
her, setting the
paper on her table and opening it. Inside was a sea green
colored dress, a
pair of riding shoes, fit for Lucas, and a note. Bobbie
shook her head.
"Jerry." She said with a sigh.
She read the note.
"I can almost see you sighing, you know that? I know that
I'm incorrigable.
Who is Jerry Jacks? Hmm? That's a tough one. Obviously,
that's what you get
when you fall for the smart ones... Anyway, I want to
see you. Tonight: I'll
pick you up at nine. That will give you time to come
home, change and be
ready. Can't tell me you have to work; I checked the
schedule at the hospital.
Can't tell me you have nothing to wear; I bought you
a dress. Can't tell me
that you can't find a sitter; I called Betty already
for you. (She's waiting
for confirmation from you, though.) Any other excuses?---Jerry."
~~
"What are you doing today?" Joe asked from behind Karen.
"You have the day
off, don't you?"
"Yes." She affirmed. "I'm going to a funeral actually." She sighed.
"Who? Oh..." Joe remembered. "Robin? Robin Scorpio?"
"Yeah." Karen nodded and took in a breath. "I just can't
believe she died;
it's so... wrong."

Jagger knocked on Gina's apartment door. When she opened
it he smiled at her.
"Hi sis."
[A refresher, Gina is Gina Cates. She was sucked into
the balck hole, but I
liked her, so...] The pretty blond girl, who was in Med.
School, smiled and
hugged her brother immidiately. "Jagger!" She exclaimed.
"What are you doing
here?"
"I got a transfer. After all that badgering me to come
for a visit, don't tell
me that you want me to leave."
"Don't you dare." She smiled. "Come on in."
He did. "So, how is everything?"
~~
Carly sighed as the attendant left.
"Finally!" She threw down the pillow. "I am *not* crazy."
She shook her head.
"When are you getting me out, Jason? When?"
Just then she noticed a newspaper the attendant had left
by accident. The
headline read: "MOB BOSS, JASON MORGAN, LOST HIS GIRLFRIEND
TO AN EXPLOSION.
WILL RETALIATION STRIKE UP A WAR THAT ROCKS PORT CHARLES?"
"Jason?" Carly said aloud, sinking on to the bed. "Robin's
dead?" She
wondered. She narrowed her eyes, confused.
~~
Brenda bit her lip and tried not to cry as the speeches
ended. The church was
filled with people who'd loved Robin Scorpio, sweet Robin
Scorpio. Jax
squeezed Brenda's hand comfortingly, as the tears welled
up in her eyes.
"How're you feeling?" He asked as people started to get
up for the open-casket
wake.
"Like my best friend died." Pause. "But I'll be allright."
She glanced at
something. "Excuse me." She walked towards a lone figure
on one side of the
church; she walked towards Jason.
~~
Jason watched warily as Brenda approached.
"Hi." She said simply. "Um... I'm not going to give you
a hard time or balme
you or anything." She assure him. "I guess that's what
I wanted to say: it
isn't your fault. I see you over here blaming yourself,
and hell, I guess part
of the time I blame you too, but it isn't true. Robin
knows that-- and she
would've wanted you to know that."
"Well," Brenda added. "That's all I have to say. So...
bye." She left Jason
with his thoughts.
