Jason finally got the courage to call Robin.He dialed her
number not knowing if it would still reach her because she
had given it to him years ago.When he pressed the numbers he
knew he had to prepare himself for the truth.Carly had went
to sleep a couple of hours ago but she stirred.Then he heard
that voice,"Hello?"
Jason almost hung up but then reminded himself why he
called,"Robin."
Robin squealed when she heard him,"Jason!Hi!"
"Hi."He said glumly peeking into Carly's room and then
whispereing lowly into the phone.His phone was right next to
Carly's door and Carly insisted on having the joint doors
open.So he made extra sure she was asleep.Carly knew he was
doing so and prentended to be asleep but keep her ears open
to what he was saying.
"What's wrong?"Robin asked.
"Why did you kill Carly?"Jason blurted out.
"What?"Robin questioned as if she didn't know.
"Why?"Jason asked again tearfully,"Why did you let me think
she slipped or fell or whatever it is you told me!?"His
voice rose but then he lowered it again,"Why didn't you tell
me you pushed her."
"I don't know what your talking about."Robin said and sat on
her bed.
"You killed her and I know!You know want to know how?Are you
a little curious?"Jason
inquired even more angry but
still continued to keep his voice low no matter how angry he
was.
"How,Jason?How do you think you know?"Robin was begining to
get angry herself.
"Because she's not dead!She's alive.I found her and I'll be
damned before I ever even let you
breath the same
air as her again!"Jason stated getting breathless by his
anger.He could kill Robin right now.
"She's alive?"Robin choked.
"Yes,she's alive and she knows!"Jason told Robin.
Robin's shock caused her to drop the phone into her lap.Then
she could only think how mad she was at Carly for making
it.She swallowed and picked the phone back up,"I'm
sorry,Jason.I'm
sorry you found out like that."
Carly got out of her bed and walked over to the wall
carefully listening to every word said by
Jason.She
felt so bad for Jason.
Jason's tears began to fall,"I loved you,Robin.I--"Jason
couldn't take it anymore he hung up the phone.Robin hung up
and began to pack.It was time to go back to Port
Charles.Carly entered Jason's room and looked at Jason who
just stood there.He had a few tears fall and Carly's heart
went out to him.She cried too but it wasn't for herself it
was for him.Jason put his hands to his ears not wanting to
believe what he had heard.She slowly approached him and took
his hands.Jason needed something.Somebody.Without giving it
a second thought he grabbed onto Carly like she was the only
thing he had.She wasn't sure what to do at first but she
hugged him back as they fell to the
floor.They sat there and Jason quitely sobbed into Carly's
arms.Carly rubbed his back soothingly,"It's ok,Jason.I'll
bring her back.And when I do...she'll make sure Robin
doesn't hurt
our family ever again."Carly whispered and kissed his head.
The next day...
They went back to Port Charles and the doctor agreed to meet
them in there within a week.Carly had went to sleep as soon
as they got back and Jason waited for Bobbie to bring
Michael home.Jason felt a little embarrassed for acting like
such a baby the night before but Carly assured
him it was alright.Carly secretly snuck out and locked her
bedroom door.She had to get away.Jason heard the phone
ring,"Hello?Oh hi,Bobbie.No that's ok.I wanted to talk to
him anyway.I'll pick him up maybe we could do something and
leave Carly alone for a while.Ok thanks I'm on my way."Carly
watched through the window as Jason grabbed his car keys and
headed out.As he left Carly went to her retreat.It took her
a couple of hours to get there but she did.It was a
beautiful opening with tons of flowers.Just a small garden
in the middle of nowhere.It always had a cool
breeze and through the opening at the top you could see th
blue sky.Carly laid in the grass and tried to ignore her
horrible screwed up life.She had on her leather coat,a short
white shirt,and blue jeans.She picked a small yellow flower
and held it next to her stomach while looking up.Twirling it
in her hand idly and not paying attention to anything.
"Oh...Babs."A voice said scaring Carly to death.Carly's eyes
widen as she saw the guy that she had held the switchblade
to a few days before.
Michael smiled when he saw his dad,"Hi!What are you doing
here?Is mom ok?Is she home?"Michael talked to Jason through
the window.
Jason waited for Michael to get in the car before answering
any questions,"Well...Michael it's a very long story."
"I have time."Michael grinned.
"I know that's why I think maybe we should go somewhere to
talk so Carly could rest she had a long weekend."Jason said
and pulled out of the school parking lot.Jason had no idea
why he did it maybe it was because he needed to make the
place beautiful again.He needed a good memory of the
place.Maybe he needed to make sure it still was as beautiful
as his relastionship with Robin once was.He wasn't sure but
he took Michael to the bridge.Michael liked it a lot and
told Jason he'd maybe take Maddy there one day but when
Jason asked who Maddy was Michael quickly
changed the subject.Jason then answered all his questions
about Carly until...
"Jason."A voice said and Jason's smile faded when he saw
Robin standing there.Michael saw the look and didn't like it
at all.
Carly gasped and felt her pockets for her security unit.But
it was nowhere to be found.Carly paniced and whispered to
herself,"No."
The man smiled,"You looking for this."He pulled out her
blade.
Carly's heart stopped,"Where'd you get that?"
"You dropped it a ways back."The blade glimmered in his eyes
and Carly felt fear take over.He laughed,"Oh,baby,you don't
think I'd hurt you do you?I came here to ask for
forgiveness."
Carly grabbed the blade quickly,"Yeah,well,you won't get
it,Trent."
"Why not?"Trent laughed why not.Carly thought about ripping
his earring out and bolting but she stayed in place as Trent
put his hands on her waist.She could fell her stomach
turn.She was repulsed by him.He always had that affect on
her.Trent wiggled her a little and grinned,"What do you
think...You,me,and baby makes three."Trent giggled.Carly
pushed him off of her.Trent laughed and stood,"What?Does
this have anything to do with you moving in with that punk
kid and his dear old daddy?Come on,Babs.You think they
really want you there knowing your pregnant?"
Michael's gaze bounced from Robin to Jason back and
forth.Jason's teeth clenched at the sight of Robin.The day
Carly spoke those words,"She pushed me!"Jason had seen it
over and over in his head like a horrible nightmare that
never ended.Seeing Robin there just made it all the more
real.Robin took a steps toward him but he gave her a look
demanding that she stopped.Robin nodded and saw
Michael,"Wow!You have gotten so big."Robin said to Michael
making Jason's anger even more powerful.Robin lifted a
finger Michael's chin and Jason pushed her hand away.
"Don't touch him."Jason warned.
Robin gave him a surprised look,"Jason,what's wrong?"
"You know what's wrong!And you still have the complete
disrespect of asking me.Robin,what's wrong with you!?"Jason
yelled.
Robin fussed,"Jason."
"No!"Jason said ignoring her pain,"I want you to stay away
from my family!Michael!Bobbie!And especially Carly!Stay
away!"Jason ordered guiding Michael away from her.Robin
watched in pain and looked one last time in her purse.This
was the one thing that would take care of her problem
for good.
Carly looked away,"They are the sweetest kindest people."She
turned to him,"Not that you would know anything about that."
Trent laughed,"Did you feed them the same story you fed
Red?Did you tell them you had an abortion."He's laughter
grew louder as he saw Carly not move,"Babs!We were together
just one month before you got with the kid and his dad.You
just left that's how you ended up in Port Charles.You wanted
to get out of my way and you knew I wouldn't look for you
here
that's all."
Carly sighed,"Like I didn't know that!I went through it you
jerk!I also found you in bed with one of my best
friends!"Carly inhaled deeply and held her stomach,"This
baby is mine.You got that?!Mine!I will die before I let
anyone take it away from me!Now you can threaten and do
whatever you want but when it's over leave me alone!I want
nothing to do with you!"Carly spoke loudly as the pain in
her stomach grew worse.
Trent got worried,"Babs,calm down."He took a step toward
her.
Carly pulled out her switchblade,"Stay away from me!"
"Ok.Fine I will."Trent backed off,"Be careful.You don't want
to stress the baby."
"The baby was fine until it caught up with you
again!"Carly's stomach pain lessened and she took a deep
breath,"I'm outta here."
"No."Trent said but Carly held the blade out.
"Back off."Carly told him and walked away.
Carly made it home and she stretched out on the couch she
thought about it sometime soon she'd have to tell Jason she
was having a baby.There was a knock at the door and Carly
answered.There stood her worst enemy.Robin stood there with
a mutual hate.Carly didn't speak at all she just stepped
aside and let Robin enter.Robin waited for Carly to step to
her face to face.She faced away from the door so Carly went
to face her.Robin looked at her,"Should've figured you'd
make it."
"You know me always going strong."Carly snapped.
"You know,Carly,you ruined my life once I can't let you do
it again.I mean I have to finally take matters into my own
hands."Robin rambled.
Carly shook her head,"What are you talking about?!"
Robin pulled a gun from her pocket,"I mean I might not have
killed you the first time but I'm pretty sure I can handle
the second.I am going to make sure you burn in hell this
time."Robin said and held the gun steady.
Jason and Michael were on their way home.Michael saw Jason's
mad look and knew Jason was still bent out of shape because
of that girl whoever she was.Michael turned to look out the
window as they pulled up to their house.It was pretty dark
outside and Carly had the lights on so both Jason
and Michael saw the shadows.It looked like two woman
screaming at each other.One was Carly and the other Michael
couldn't make out but Jason could.He quickly unbuckled
himself and ran into the house.He told Michael to stay put
and Jason ran to the door.Carly looked at Robin with hateful
eyes and when the door burst open Robin got nervous.She was
very close to pulling the trigger.Jason stepped so that he
was right beside the both of them,"Robin,put the gun down."
"No!"Robin shouted,"I am so sick of people ordering me
around.What's the matter,Jason?Mad because I'm in
control?Well deal!"Robin got so angry that she accidently
pulled the trigger in a rage but Jason had been watching her
finger the whole time.Jason yelled,"Carly!!!"As Robin pulled
the
trigger.Luckily Jason for Carly Jason pushed her out of the
way just in time but not good for him.Since he ended up
being the one shot.Michael watched the shadow and vividly
made out the images when he saw his dad go down he ran into
the house,"Dad!"He yelled as he ran to Jason's side.Carly
had tear filled eyes as she looked at Robin who was shocked
that she pulled the
trigger.Robin dropped the gun and said softly,"Jason?"
Carly laid Jason down softly and picked up the gun
swiftly,"Get away from him!!!"She screamed and Robin backed
off.
Robin watched in horror she had just shot the love of her
life and now Carly wouldn't let her near him.Carly stood
steady and pointed the gun toward Robin.Carly's pain took
over and she could think of nothing but shooting Robin.Robin
was ready for it.Michael saw this and got even more scared.
"Fourteen years of my life...gone.All because you were
insecure!"Carly still screaming,"Doesn't seem right does
it.But no making me lose my memory,taking me away from my
son,and hurting the man you loved wasn't enough!You needed
something more!You had to try and finish me off.Now
you kill the only man who really cared about me!"Carly shook
her head,"I can't let you get away with that.I can't."
"No!"Michael yelled,"Mom,please don't shoot her we have to
get dad to a hospital!"
Robin looked at her with fearless eyes,"Do it!"Robin
challenged Carly.
Carly's hand steady on the gun and she looked at her with
hatred still controlling her on the inside.Her finger
tighten on the trigger a little and she closed her eyes.
"Mom,no! "Michael cried and Carly snapped out of it.She
turned to her son and saw him shake his head,"We have to
help dad."
That's when they heard sirens and saw a flashing red
light.An evil grin spread across Robin's face,"You should
have killed me when you had the chance."Robin told Carly and
dropped a white cloth that she had used to hold the gun and
Michael realized right away.Robin was framing Carly!Carly's
fingerprints were the only one's on the gun and she had
blood all over her.Robin started to cry crocidile tears and
Michael watched in horror as Mac and a few other cops
entered.Mac saw Robin and ran to her,"Robin!"
"She shot Jason!Uncle Mac do something!"Robin screamed
through her tears.
Mac saw Carly's scared and shocked face,"Caroline
Bensen,your under arrest."
"You don't understand!"Michael shouted and Carly shook her
head.
"Michael,don't worry about me.Take care of Jason."Carly
ordered and as much as he hated it he went with his dad and
left Carly to be taken away.
Carly went through the whole booking procedure and couldn't
help but think I've been through this before.Even though
from what she knew she was ok with the law until this.After
they finished with her they threw her in a cell and the cops
were a little mean and nice.The man who put her in her cell
acted as though she was some rag dool you could throw
anywhere.After the man left she sat on the cot in her cell
and her hands gripped a wad of her shirt in fear for her
baby.She told the baby things in her mind so the guards
wouldn't come back to her cell again,"We're going to be
ok.I'll find a way out of this baby.I won't let them hurt
you and I definitely won't let them take you away from
me."Carly opened her eyes and stood up.She walked over to
the small silver sink and ran the cold water.She formed a
cup with her hands and splashed the cold water on her
face.When she closed her eyes again she saw something.A
man.She was looking at him like the way she looked at
Robin.The man smiled and bang!She shot him.Carly screamed
and stepped back from the sink with her mouth wide open and
the guards rushed in with a woman as the water in the sink
overflowed.
Michael sat in the waiting room sobbing into Emily's
shoulder.Emily rubbed his back soothing trying to assure him
everything was ok and Nikolas placed a hand on her shoulder
to show her he was there.The Quartermaines,The
Spencers,Mike,Ned,Alexis,Nikolas,Elizabeth and Michael all
waited there for some news on Jason.Edward spoke softly but
Michael over heard him,"This is the perfect opportunity to
get Michael to come with us.To get him into our home.His
father isn't sure to live and his mother is crazy."
Michael pulled away from Emily immediately,"No!!!I'll never
go with you!"He looked at Emily,"Em,please don't let them
take me away."
Emily hated the idea too.She turned to Nikolas,"Could stay
with us?"
Nikolas nodded,"Of course."
"He certainly will not!I will not let a Cassidine take my
great grandson!"Edward argued.
"Do you even care that my dad and your grandson might
die!?"Michael cried.
Monica pulled Edward away and A.J. want to
Michael,"Hey,Michael.I'm sorry about grandfather he
just...he does care in his own demented way.I swear to you."
Michael smiled.He always kind of liked A.J. and he couldn't
figure out why.They weren't friends.They hardly knew each
other but they liked each other.
"A.J.,You should get away from him.No one trusts
him."Michael warned A.J. and buried his face in Emily's
shoulder again.
