The Sit - 2

    "We're all going to DIE!"
"Oh, come on, Carly," Bobbie said, holding a cold rag to her newly
blackened eye. "Jax has flown before."
"Yeah, well psycho boy has flown before. That's reassuring. He also
thinks that cop is his dead girlfriend! Is that supposed to comfort me
too!"
"Carly, it's just a little plain ride over to Nebraska. How bad could
it be? It's not like we're going to have to worry about iar traffic,"
Lucky said with a small laugh.
"Well, I so glad you are so blase about this, Lucky," Carly said
angrily. "You know it does so much for ME!"
"You, you, you!" Bobbie shouted. "Is that ALL you ever think about?!
Look around, Carly. There's seven other people besided you--"
"Make that nine!" Jerry yelled, running up with Liz Webber. "Don't
tell me you forgot about us?"
"Elizabeth!" Lucky exclaimed, sweeping her happily into his arms.
"Where have you been?"
"I don't know," Liz said, shaking her head. "It's almost as if--I
didn't exist."
"Well, I'm so glad you're here. Jax is going to fly us to Nebraska."
"Great," Jerry said. "I'm so glad that my brother is able to keep a
straight head through all this."
Jax smiled, and turned to V. "Would you like to ride in the cockpit
with me, Brenda?" he asked.
V rolled her eyes. "Sure, why not?"

"Where are we going, Uncle?" Nikolas asked again. He looked around the
terminal, surprised. Stefan was nowhere in sight. "Uncle?" he called.
"Uncle!" There was still no answer. He shook his head and continued
across the terminal, trying to avoid the bodies littering the ground.
"AHHH! Cassadine! Everyone take cover!" Nikolas looked up swiftly, and
looked around frantically for the source of the voice. Finally he looked
straight ahead and saw Lucky perched on top of a counter near a group of
people.
"Lucky!" Nikolas yelled, starting to run. He noticed Bobbie in the
group as well. "Bobbie!" he shouted, unable to hold back tears of joy.
"Oh, I'm so glad I found someone!" Nikolas said, wiping away a stray
tear. "I thought I was all alone."
"Oh, poor baby," Lucky said. "Come on, let's board this bird," he
said, and grabbed a hold of Liz's hand. They started toward the jetway
without another glance back.
"We're going to Nebraska," Bobbie aid, and started to pull Nikolas
after her.
   "My uncle said-"
   "Where is he?" Bobbie interrupted.
   "I don't know," Nikolas admitted. "He just---disappeared."
"Then come with us." Nikolas did not protest as he was lead onto the
plane.

"Everyone take you seats, please," V said cheerfully. "And buckle your
seatbelts and wait until we have reached---all the way up---before you
put your trays down. Uh---okay, have a nice flight." She walked toward
the cockpit almost gratefully.
"I can't believe I'm sitting next to you," Nikolas muttered angrily.
"Well, you didn't have to be in this row," Lucky spit back.
"Yes, I did, Lucky. I'm ALWAYS in this row."
"I bet you've never been on a public plane, Nikky."
"Well," Nikolas mumbled. "It's my lucky number."
Lucky burst out laughing, then stopped abruptly as the palne lurched
into motion. "Hey he could have warned us!" he shouted. The plane took
off down the jetway, then shuddered as the front lifted off the runway.
The plane angled up,and Lucky grabbed onto Nikolas's arm. "Oh, I don't
think I should have had that fifth bag of peanuts," Lucky said miserably,
then leaned over and vomited into his brother's lap.

Stefan watched the plane take off, then sighed heavily. He slowly
turned to face his companion. "Ah, there you are Dr. Jones."
Tony nodded and wiped a strand of spittle from his mouth. "I did it
for HIS sake," Tony insisted.
"Of course you did," Stefan agreed mildly. "The baby was just BEGGING
to be kidnapped."
"So you DO understand!" Tony said excitedly. "Nobody understands me,"
he said with a pout. "I'll show them."
"Come now, Tony," Stefan said. "We have a great task at hand. And yes,
you will show them all."
"Where are we going?" Tony asked.
   "Las Vegas."
